There are a number of teachers now drinking in the Crossbar. They all have appropriate degrees from the UK and teach in International schools earning top dollar. The face of this is changing in Bangkok! Are they the SAS of teaching? No, The Crossbar is not in Pattaya.

Definitely a balloon released at about 8am from 10k. Other than that I have no idea. Possibly being a busy regional airport they wanted it released above any traffic? At 10 k the balloons we used would more than fill he cabin. No wonder you had to leave perfectly good aircraft. slash.dotat.org/atmos/info.htmlwww.naturespic.com/i/33679DM00_w.jpgBloody hell. These ones were about a few feet or a bit more. No idea what they did. Edit. The airport (Central NSW coast) isn't even on that map. It was a few years back. Edit edit. Very interesting site. Lake Keepit gliding club . I spent a bit of time out there.

As some of us have educational links the ditty below is for us. And to think many teachers here malign the Thai system . Let's remember the U K system.

I teach English as a foreign language. However, I've recently taken on a new role in which I am the farang-face of my company's corporate sales team. I'm the one who delivers a presentation, in English, to multinational companies' HR departments, pimping our English language training services. On my recent trip back to the USA, when asked what I was doing in SE Asia, I told people I was in corporate training sales. I made no mention of being an English teacher. I got better reactions than I would have had I just said I was an English teacher. I think there's a feeling in the wider world that if you're a teacher in this part of the world, you're just a backpacker who's found a way to pay for his travel. What'd you do get qualified for your job? You just happen to be born a native English speaker. Whoopdeedoo. I spent 20 years in sales before I moved to Asia. It's weird to find that the dubious profession of salesman (professional liar) is actually better received than the historically honored position of teacher.. Ferk them joko, many are just envious of your life style, hold your head high and take no notice of them.

Yes. Irishman jumped from an adjacent condo but landed in one of our storm drains. Wet or dry season? Because when all around you is falling to pieces, your life sucks, you get voted by your High School PTA as the least likely to succeed in life (with your parents casting the deciding vote), your TGF has run off with your life savings and you can't take any more of the hand that our dear Lord dealt you, it is important to check out on a sunny day.

Yes. Irishman jumped from an adjacent condo but landed in one of our storm drains. Wet or dry season? Drowning was the least of his worries.
