Yeah this contract will hopefully see me out before retiring to the boonies, and not necessarily Thailand. Although unfortunately I can see one more change on the horizon.
I couldn't stand being in any place with a population of more than 99 either in Thailand or Australia for longer than a week.

Used to float along on the deep blue sea,  well life was a cruise for a short term commission officer who was a well connected but skint scion of an equally  skint old English family. Declined to extend my service and thus did a stint at Hendon College and then plodded along for some 20+ years in S B put me papers in and came to live here.

Had an education degree so became involved in teaching in intl schools, after buying my experience in the low echelons of the system.

Now work as a foreign staff director, manager supervisor, trainer curriculum course writer etc at schools supported by a Chinese Thai charity foundation I have good rep and was Zimmer frame hunted for the post after being supposedly retired but after 6 months total retirement boredom set in some 4 years ago,

Might throw the Zimmer in when I hit 75, then try a re-run of retirement and learn to vegetate properly on our farm in Surin (perhaps).
