Absolutely false. Islam can be traced back to Mohammed and to a pagan that Mohammed "adopted" named "Allah". The ideas of Islam come from the mind of its prophet. Abraham (and Jesus, and Mary, and Adam and Eve) were similarly "adopted" in by Mohammed in an attempt to give his new religion some credence. In no way can Islam trace its roots to Abraham.
