I read that America has fought with 14 of them during that period, often overthrowing the incumbent government and leaving the country in a worse condition than when they found it, was 9/11 really that much of a surprise! The rationale is circular, the US thinks it must remain in the ME to contain Muslim terrorists and the more the US does that the more they are resented and the greater the Muslim terrorist threat becomes....echoes of the spread of communism prior to the Vietnam conflict I believe. yes agree entirely. Western nations invading ME countries is absolutely insane. Didn't old noble winner himself Obongo not invade something like 7 ME nations? There is no excuse whatsoever for western nations having military involvement overseas. But what I would say is it was again the libtards that agitated for this. Oh look the poor muzzies out in the ME all they want is FWEEDOM and DEMOCWACY and we must give it to them down the barrels of our guns. Because you see, the tards did not and do not understand islam. They thought the repression was all to do with bully boy strongmen leaders. It was not. Anyway too late to resolve that - we did crazy things and invaded perfectly happy muslim countries like Libya and Iraq. At least Donald Trump has stopped the Obongo policy of arming and funding ISIS to take down Assad. Thank heavens for small mercies. Now back to Christchurch. Why is MSM avoiding the appalling record of the mosques Mr Tarrant shot up? They have an incredible record of sending young kids of to fight for ISIS. How is this? Why is this? I will help. When a post includes something like 'obongo' I may assume that the rest is a tad prejudiced and then I'm rather friendly in my description.
Anyway back to Christchurch were a 'normal white man' just felt like shooting and killed 50 men, women, children and wounded 50 more. Just the 'normal' thing a normal white man would do, even if it wasn't a Sunday.

I'm no lawyer but surely the mosque incident and how to classify it falls under the jus ad bellum/jus in bello rules? When obongo's missiles slammed into women and children sleeping in their beds in the middle east why is that worse than what Mr Tarrant did? Not defending the NZ incident, but it does get murky when you cast an objective eye over it all. |

A proper, fair trial by a normal court and following sentencing lock him up. Assuming he's found guilty that is, of course, but he seems to have no problem stating "I did this".

For some it will be a quirk of genetics. For others it will be a lifetime of indoctrination in hatred, violence and intolerance. Or should we be compassionate and either try to treat them, or put them down like a sick pet? |
