Well what can one say? Certainly a classic case of the promptings from the rabid extremist Imams of an repressive primitive brutal and basically misogynist cult designed to ensure that power stays in their male hands under the guise of''religion.'' One is led to wonder what those staunch liberal snowflake types have to say concerning the matter?
Without a doubt the Brunei action totally confirms my view, and I am sure many other peoples views that Islam is indeed no more than a terrorist organisation , defeated and removed from Europe in the 17th century. Islam is now staging another creeping invasion on peoples religious, gender, and human rights, freedoms and beliefs.

Somehow I think the usual suspects have forgotten they regularly call for 'fast' judgment and at times even lynching seems to be condoned. Certainly hacking of certain parts of the body has been suggested for kiddy fiddlers and a bit of 'why not cut some head off like the others do', or words of a similar nature.

I thought about sticking my mod hat on here but instead I'll add my tuppenceworth.
The story is anything but about Moslem hatred as its Moslem gays who are being targeted and no one else really other than thieves and lowlifes.
How they choose to deal with thievery is up to them but homosexuality is to me something genetic and from birth and harming no one intrinsically therefore in enforcing a law which is barbaric and ridiculous they should be shunned by all of the Western nations.

I was referring to loving it when sharia is implemented for the shitstorm that follows, and the PC brigade having to eat humble pie. As you are probably aware we know that Islam is the religion of peace and harmony, tolerance and brotherly love, and we should welcome it replacing Christianity, and we should be happy that all our food in the supermarket is Halal which essentially is a tax paid to muslims, and on and on. Is it not up to Brunei as to how they set their laws and is it not up to the people who live there to decide whether they wish to remain, in light of them? Who are we as a non-muslim race/country to criticize the laws of others based on our own different teachings and standards.
And I totally agree with the post above (88) regarding keeping matters hidden, what goes on tour stays on tour kinda thing.
Finally, I wonder how much of the seemingly anti-muslim sentiment is really just a way of expressing disdain for the anti-gay sentiment that exists in Islam, I don't like one aspect of the religion so it must all be very bad, I don't like extremists so they must all be very bad, hmmm!
