So the other place has launched a female only forum for SE Asia - and to join you have to agree to be called/SKYPED, whatever.
It reminds me of the girl gang cliques at high school. Infantile and pathetic.
And I'd love to see the reaction of the female membership if a male only forum was established under the umbrella of the other place.

So they now have a private 'Women Living in Southeast Asia' forum, a 'Ladies in Thailand' sub forum and a 'Gay people in Thailand' sub forum but when we tried to get a 'TGAU' and 'Gerbil' sub forum we were laughed at.
Thank god that Frank isn't over there, as a heterosexual male he would feel very bullied.

Laughed at Tony ?....my recollection.... some of us were suspended, we even tried to start a thread in the sports/hobbies section about duck hunting and it was shut down as well. |

What a shame that there is no fun to be had on TVF any more.
Still, their loss is our gain, they may have more members than us (even if half of them are made up to entice sponsors) but I wouldn't want the trash that is currently there to post on this board.
Imagine having to moderate the Lycra Queen and the Baht Bus Drama Queen's 'report button' pushing activities.

I sniff someone falling for a "money-making," opportunity.
In someone's dreams they'll have the busiest female only forum in SE Asia and the money will pour in.
Let me be the first to point out that the reason why the Ladies Forum never took off was that the female membership didn't want to form a clique and talk exclusively to each other.
You'll find plenty of female members of that place who never posted in said forum, ever. They were perfectly capable of interacting and garnering information from the regular forums.
Girlie gang club not required.
