Took time but we seem to have got it about right at last. ...absent a list of banned members, may I ask if <Bunny boiler> has been removed? If I remember correctly, she was present at the creation or shortly thereafter...

Since the early days of the board. You may or may not know that we had a number of somewhat difficult members who managed to create a personal battleground of conflict amongst themselves and that conflict ran on too long as we were a little naive then. None of us wanted to remove any one person or persons at all, however individual actions were taken. Sometimes though it was questionable as to whether or not those actions were taken in the right spirit. Innocents suffered and guilty parties escaped. Well after a particular nasty spate of a cyber punch up actions were taken and no quarter was given, after that it was agreed that any further actions were to be on a common consensus of opinion basis, unless of course the posts were seen as insulting those who are highly respected, blatantly provocative, abusive or obscene or a spammer activity. Took time but we seem to have got it about right at last. Has been rather laid back and peaceful here since I first joined the BM, even the visit from the TVF mod was low key and a bit of fun entertainment. The only type of poster that gets up my nose are the nasty, attacking prix who are plainly trying to get a reaction or an argument going. Have noticed a bit of that of late but I am sure they will eventually self destruct, as happened just the other day. Not used to that here, the narky comments, but had nine years of it at TVF so I know well how to handle it (ignore)

What is your interest in <Bunny boiler> may I ask? Admin do not nor will not discuss members specifics in an open forum, closed doors are much better. If you wish to search the members list any information you seek will be there to be seen. Now if anyone may happen to have a personal difference of opinion with other members fine. Remember though, we do prefer that you please keep those differences off of this board. We have no interest in girly spats being conducted as they were in ajarn and T D in open view of the rest of our members and any guests who may be looking in. Pushing buttons can have dire consequences which I am sure you as are others too are well aware of.

12 pages long. There must be something interesting in here. Any chance of a summary as I haven't read it all - or even most of it.
Looks a bit outdated to me as well.
So executive summary please: Was Ajarn Forum a piece of tish?

In the end, it really was. Even the owners thought so.

It just ended up as an angry jerk circle for Guy, Cyrille and other assorted TEFAILers ...too harsh: judicious use of the ignore button (see micksaraphee) and a fairly entertaining group of posters emerged...I imagine most of them have gone to TeakDoor or one of the teaching sites: a definite loss of good contributors for this forum, unfortunately...

People need to get over it. It's gone. Buh, bye. Owners didn't give a shit as long as it was somewhat profitable.
If you feel nostalgic, you can still access some threads through google cache.

Hello my dearest darling tomcat. (insert bouquet of blood red roses here) You're here again, oh let's break out the cyber bubbly on your balcony again. To all, this is my old fiend. TC, sorry got a new project and have been busy hence my absence. Ajarn closed *shock*, *horror* oh those were the days TC when we were winding up the Prego King and other assorted windbags, how I shall miss it. Did you know Seb and I are being blamed in part for its demise? Hahahahahahahahahaha

I think the new influx need to find their feet here. Please go easy all, they are suffering from prolonged reflexive action syndrome. ( PRA ) meaning some are so used to posters chasing them with a cyber axe it becomes second nature to be on the defensive/offensive. Guys, people here are not on the attack, freakdoor will not welcome you with open arms as they don't get most of you.
Fresh start unless your name is guymanboob, that weirdo is definitely not a good addition here if he engages in the sort of crappola for shits and giggles as he did next door or that FaRT loony bin.
