There's something infantile about these two. Capable of brilliance, undone by the type of soporofic, greasy, commentary you hear in this video.

Lots of production value in this amateur video. Only 6850 views? Albeit that's 20 times what one of my travel videos gets on average, that's not many for something that looks like this.

The best place for digital nomads is the departure lounge of whatever country they have selfishly descended upon. With its free WiFi and water fountains it is just the place that they will love.

The thing that gets me about this and other similar videos, they are not "video" diaries per se, but carefully scripted for commerical purposes, for example look at the car they are driving, i suspect they used this car to infer somehow they are "backpackers" with only enough money to afford an old car, but looking at the video, this looks like a complete rebuild of a 1970s Cortina, now after 15 years here, i havent come across too many old cortinas never mind ones that have been completely restored..in other words this is not their car and suspect it was hired for the express purpose to this movie

That's not a Cortina. It's a MK1 Escort.

Expats who call their commentary pompous or pretentious are just jealous. They see these young people sharing with the world what they themselves have been living for X number of years, and doing so in a videographically compelling way, and they say these vloggers are bullshit. Yeah, I understand if what is everyday life for me got pumped up to drama, but this couple was leaving after 4 years in Thailand...
Me, when I leave Myanmar, I dunno if I'll have these kids message, but it'll take a lot of patience and hard work to make a video of this length and production value

Shooting everything with a stupidly narrow depth of field, grading the shit out of it and then slapping a fake lens flare or light leak on every transition does not equal 'production values' - and 6 minutes is hardly long, is it?

The best video I saw from them was a focus on the female and her Dad visiting - she's more natural in front of the camera than the guy.

Jealous, , thanx for the laff.
