This must be doin' the mods' heads in. I can just see them now, madly flicking pages of the latest version of The Mod's Handbook, desperately looking for the chapter - "Raving lunatics and how to deal with them"  The mods are breathing a sigh of relief. Just as every village needs an idiot, every forum needs a troll. Our prayers have been answered, the anointed one has arrived to lead us from darkness to light. I was just over on TD reading. Couldn't post cause I'm banned for life. Damn, I've been on Thai forums since AF had yellow pages. But reading all those 5-word responses and 3-word jabs, and smilies and "right on bros" Got me trying to classify what it is. But I can't.

I'm still a member over there but rarely post these days, although I did receive some good advice a while back regarding acupuncture in Chiang Mai. Some of the posters who are usually screaming about people being sex-maniacs, pedophiles, drug addicts etc. are surprisingly helpful when they want to be. Funniest thing is trying to work out who is who on TD, seems to be full of multi-nics. |
