I have to admit to getting bottles lobbed at me loads of times and the whole band bottled off the stage at Hull one time. I used to play cheap Les Paul copies for those gigs and those guitars took a beating. Four songs into our first gig at Sleazies in Glasgow and I bust two strings on the Gibson I had borrowed off a mate's mate. I played on a bit but changed guitars mid song and picked up my telecaster that was standby and got back into the song , gucking mayhem going on all around and out of the mayhem came mate's mate and he got a hold of me and ripped the strings off it with his hands , bloody mess, so I shat myself a bit and put the telecaster down and picked up the Les Paul mid song and just made it as close as I could.

I'd have kept hold of the Tele. Those things make a formidable weapon.

Bill Nelson, for those who have never heard of him. Must admit I had never heard of him rg, but I had a look at a few of his videos on You Tube, nice sound. Surprised I had not heard of him before. Mick, formerly of a band called Be Bop Deluxe, their early albums were ok, guitar orientated, the later albums werent my cuppa tea, too much synth driven. Another shafted by the record industry. The guitar work on this is awesome, pure smokes.

Not a patch on Wayne but rocking chic on the bass.

Continuing in that Neil Young, ragged-edge vibe (but moving on a few years). Check the solo.

Had a listen to one of the videos attached to that one you posted, a band called "Dink" who are described in Wiki as - "an alternative/industrial rock band" ! Immediately had a vision of them performing with power tools with smoke and sparks going everywhere. Good sound though -
(not too sure about the vocal intro, but the garage sound is good)

James Williamson these days plays the lap steel. The steel guitar community is a small one, and Mr.Williamson is active on a couple of forums. Great to chat with a hero!
