Just as the poll asks - do you regard fellow expats with disdain?
And do they deserve it,

Not really disdain for expats but certainly for sexpats.
There was this time . . . at bandcamp Makro, me and the kids doing the shopping, bumped into this English bloke. Conversation was fairly normal for the first few minutes then deteriorated into me standing there, the kids sat on the big trolley thing looking bored and this bloke going on about tight wet cats in the most lurid of detail and leering at passing lady shoppers and shop staff.
It was gross actually.
Others too. Drunk English bloke came round the house with his bar girl. Middle of the day, me and SIL number three decorating. This bloke is sat there slurring "herro daarwing" at SIL. She just looked at him and said "You're a <duck>ing spudder".
Spudder is the term we use to describe foreigners in LOS who are there for the services of prostitutes. There's anything from King Edwards (great big spuds) to Jersey Royals (posh sexpats) to chips (young spudders) and even crisps (spuds which have been burnt in the sun).

Not too fond of expats with mentality, see evil, hear evil but I keep my mouth shut. Not my business. Those expats have adapted very well into Thai society.

Really don't care for those that criticise and want to change everything/everyone to "their" way of doing and thinking - how thick - go back to where you came from....
And the drunks....

alkies, whining reprobates, droning boors and the socially handicapped were all left in the mire years ago: when I offer cocktails on my balcony, my guests understand that good conversation is the price of admission. No drop-ins without calling first, no bar detritus in tow, no surprise "guests"...life is far too short to put up with the hell that many others feel free to inflict.

Always moaning about everything, yet those nobodies in thier own country and total social misfits in this country fail to look into the mirror to actually identify the root of their problems. I just smile nicely while thinking ''tampon passage'' regarding the majority of ex-pats I met. They all come here because they like that which they saw and see, then within a brief moment of time here they want to change everything to what they want and to hell with everyone and everything else.

I treat everyone as they deserve to be treated, regardless of race creed and colour. However, it is easy for me to show no disdain to other ex-pats, as the nearest farang to me (that I know of) lives about 5kms away and is named Siampolee (on this board) and I class him as a good guy.

I don't even mind apologists to a certain degree, but when they get to the 'I am more Thai than you' stage something has gone awry. The other type is religious nutters. Somebody else's beliefs are none of my business .... but forming prayer circles in the Nana Hotel car park is, quite frankly, odd.

I thought they were hookers...

The hookers only form circles around the punters.

Those who religiously cite 'Stickman' (Trink for older members) as a reliable, valid source of info......

Aye, they're a rum bunch there alright. You'd think they'd just discovered some amazing secret and you are intruding in their private club, seemingly ignorant of the fact that the place has been there sine 1980 and is in practically every guidebook to BKK now.....
