650 baht to eat a piece of beef thats been frozen and flown in from half a world away! Jeez I'd rather join the pikeys down in the big c food court tbh. Thats cheap for a decent steak, and typically the better establishments dont freeze their beef, its chilled, not frozen, as the ice formed in freezing fks up the streak, this is why typically prices are higher...better quality ingredients, cost more, but usually worth it This particular place is incredible. When I'm next in CM I will get the name and PM any interested parties.

I'll give the steak a miss sorry. But the blue cheese sauce and red wine have me salivating.

Don't tell smokie but I'm with you on this point, a blue cheese sauce over broccoli and a nice glass of red, I'm no vegetarian but steak these days is just something I don't eat, pork yes, chicken yes, but not steak, dunno why it just doesn't suit any longer. My fav. meal these days is a broccoli four cheese bake, that and oven potato's glazed in olive oil is amazingly good, add grilled chicken breast for protein, yum.

By memory Sizzlers closed down in Aus after the food poisoning outbreak. Haven't seen them for years. No, they did not close down, they constructed salad counters which are totally refrigerated with the temperature of each zone being displayed, same for the soup and spaghetti, the put in a hell of a lot of food handling practices and seem to apply them even here. It is probably one of the safest places to eat here, not saying it is gourmet but it is good value and quite edible and enjoyable food cooked by the numbers, which makes it consistent even if it is not masterchef. Value for money is good, it can almost be a daily meal if you want it though once a week would be enough. There are a couple of good restaurants with real food around but many of them are inconsistant and the quality usually drops quickly after opening. www.sizzler.com.au/restaurants/innaloowww.facebook.com/SizzlerThai/

Well I don't think theres a sizzler left in Australia and I know 1 did close its doors after a food poisoning outbreak.

Most Aussie pubs offer a great steak meal for $20. Even where I live with a population of a few hundred.
Edit. Choice of salad and chips, or veges. Sauces...pepper or diane. Whoever she is.
