How is your lady friend from Kuilsrivier boet ? Soutie could you please translate "krag le in ons kroeke". Apparently hilarious in Afrikaans.
I think you mean "krag le in ons koek" ? Literally it meams... our power/energy is in our cakes...must be a Kuilsrivier thing dont know funny it is..? Do not send the following to your Kuilsrivier lady but Afrikaans has some great swear words...more expressive than English sometimes steek dit in jou fokken vet hol jou moer Gorrel my spyt kak Hoender naaier Gaan naai 'n koei
Soutie thank you for interpreting my spelling. If you google the words I think the explanation comes up. Most languages have swear words that are more expressive than English, "humpty backed fecker" is about as colourful as it got in my experience.

She now tells me it is Afrikaans slang for a lady's er, ahem, rude part. Didnt know they ran to slang, thought they struggled enough with the normal bits.

"'Uyisigebengu senja" like fat, lazy criminal dog? I must protest against the lazy part. They needed to do some work to amass those millions

They needed to do some work to amass those millions I preferred the term FLUBB myself Better be careful, the first meaning of Flubb I found was "A very spiritual person who often relies on intuition for decision making." I assume you were more thinking of the noun form of the verb 'to flub', as in 'to botch', 'to bungle'. Mind you I must admit that spiritual people who rely on intuition may be called "explicit deleted" to bungle along.

It is all in your head. Evil the flip side of Good Might just as well ask why Good exists As for Religion - it keeps the Sheeple in line
The abolition of religion as the illusory happiness of the people is the demand for their real happiness. To call on them to give up their illusions about their condition is to call on them to give up a condition that requires illusions. The criticism of religion is, therefore, in embryo, the criticism of that vale of tears of which religion is the halo Karl Marx

Without religion people need another moral framework to keep them in check. Karl Max and his followers were not one iota better with communism. In Worker's Paradises the workers were still screwed.
It's unfortunate human beings didn't progress yet to the point of automatically doing what is right. Of course, we can't even agree on what's right apart from the latest trend on 'facts' being what people are told by their 'betters'.
