Without religion people need another moral framework to keep them in check. Karl Max and his followers were not one iota better with communism. In Worker's Paradises the workers were still screwed. It's unfortunate human beings didn't progress yet to the point of automatically doing what is right. Of course, we can't even agree on what's right apart from the latest trend on 'facts' being what people are told by their 'betters'. But isnt that one of fundamental questions ?...personally i am an athiest, and rabid anti Marxist, but i know fundamentally right from wrong...so isnt this a case of parenting which sets the moral frame work ?... So could we modify your first sentence to state without religion stupid people need.... |

TBH and despite how the world now views the 1940s, I am of the honest belief that the Nazis stopped too soon. Surely they could have just carried out one more killing.  After all, this could have been bracketed as 'A crime for humanity'. |

Well I remember the bitter battle for freedom. It took the English 100 years to liberate themselves from the French. We Dutch had it easier, it only took 80 years but that was against the Dagoes.  |

The Dutch gave theirs disease, famine and abject poverty.

Can't work out the first picture but pictures 2,3 & 4 are as such: Picture 2: A man (wearing a very poor attempt of a bald wig) is trying to open an umbrella with his teeth. He could use his hands but that's not much of a party trick, is it. Picture 3: The same 'bald wig' wearing man is secretly asking a statue to be his friend. He has to do this in secret because his real life friends will get angry because they only want him to talk to one imaginary friend and forsake all others. Picture 3: This is the head of the Catholic Church kissing an infant baby on his penis. So move along folks, there's nothing unusual to see here. |
