The new Oirish pub on Soi 23 is going to do well over the next few years I know that....its been waiting for the right owner to turn it around for years and looks like it will succeed....all about location. I never thought the day would come when I would take to an internet froum to lament the passing of the Offshore, well that day has arrived. |

The Irish Clock in Udon is a good local.
Until the visa dodgers from Phuket or Bangkok turn up.

Mind you the last stretch from Vientiane to Bangkok might take more time than to get to V. Seems the high speed link from Udon to Bangkok is not quiet ready yet  |

About Russian visas, next month I will have been a "resident" for 90 days, which means I am one of the lucky few who can get one outside of my home country. Russia will have to wait, a bit sad as I wanted to go to Lake Baikal

Mind you the last stretch from Vientiane to Bangkok might take more time than to get to V. Seems the high speed link from Udon to Bangkok is not quiet ready yet I was more thinking of using it to go to Kummin or something and fly from there....even a tour  or mayby to Hong kong...then fly from there, if he can escape the mansion. I do not think the Vientiene link to China is quite finished. |

That's a great price! What airline are you using? Gulf Air oh and they have new planes too on the route....its a very nice airline in biz. |
