Just tried to eat some vile concoction, only thing on the table. I like some Thai food, but they do overdo the spices. Chill, in moderation is an excellent addition. Couple it with ginger and yuck.Fortunately there was mango and sweet rice to cleanse my mouth. Ground pork, chilli , ginger and goodness knows what else. Had to eat it just to be sure it was disgusting. Gave up. Yuck.
Favourite Thai food? I'll go for sea bass in plum sauce. Love it when bubbling on the candle thingy. Cha am has one of the best, also Ang Sila. Now i'm hungry. No car, alas bye bye Ang Sila.

There is a restaurant in Wororot Market in CM that has been run by the same family (Chinese) for over 60 years. They only sell two dishes, noodles and Kao Soi.
I always order Kao Soi Gai, best I have tasted in Thailand.

And gout is no joke . I had an attack of gout when i was fifteen, long before i was drinking alcohol. Even quit all alcohol and meat for six months and still scored above the average.

Fish, so cheap here, love it.That one all salty on the outside, charcoal grilled. A memory. Was in Lancaster, England, with my wife. Went to the fish market. "Don't buy that, it is dead, old,". She was correct, but that is all you can buy in an English market.

Don't even bother going there at lunchtime, you won't get a table. When we lived in the condo for five years it was about a 10 minute walk away. I often walked down there and bought take away and ate at home. Cheap as too. Come up to CM and I will take you there for a feed. Your shout !
