GF and I did the Barossa tour when we did a drive around Oz 1979-80, bought some beautiful wines (at good prices we found out later) got p**sed before we got to the last winery. Great day out. hip, what thread is the building related topics in ? I can't find it. Have finally started building my bar in the backyard. Have the frame up and the tiles on the roof. BIL was staying with us for a couple of months building the house next door, he put it up when the building job stopped for a month. He did most of the hard work (wife did the rest) Wife said her and I can lay the blocks (good, she can mix the "mud") Photos please micksaraphee. Photos ? Of my wife mixing concrete and laying blocks ? She would kill me if I took a photo of her dirty ! At the moment there's not much to see except for 6 steel posts and the underside of the tiled roof. I wanted a gable style roof so you could see the tiles but the Leader of The Opposition got involved and it turned into a flat skillion roof higher at the front, sloping back so unless you are sitting in one of our longan trees you cannot see the roof tiles. Never let a woman get involved with building plans.

Me and my missus have been talking about something similar at the back of our place and I am open to copy cat building.

ok, but ours is a simple rectangle, 6 mtrs x 4 mtrs, half of that will be walled in, bar top on wall in the middle. And the rest left open with dining table and chairs.
Will post pics and floor plan over at the Hobbies thread.

I'm cooking some sea bass fillets tonight. Give me a recipe then <duck>ers. Done golden with garlic , in the pan or under the grill. Served with a ladel of Penang curry sauce And garnished with fresh basil. Easy .

But seriously leaving master chef out of it, I would saute in olive oil and butter, garlic , parsley and wee skoosh of lime over the top when serving.
